Belle's Hamburger Buns

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2011
Very soft! Next time I'll make 15 or 16 buns as they turned out bigger than my burger patties. Also, they were slightly more well done on the bottom, so I'll take them out at 5 minutes.

Cream of Mushroom Soup I

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2011
I made it a little differently.. I cooked the onion and mushroom in 1/2 cup of chicken stock, used another 1/2 cup when making the puree, and stirred in a heaping tbs of cornstarch into the last 1/2 cup when doing step 3. No need for butter/oil or making a roux. I used heavy cream instead of half and half (what we had) and I also didn't add the sherry (I didn't have it in the house). Smelled and tasted devine.

Italian Sausage Lasagna

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2010
Very Yummy! I took others advice and doubled the recipe and cooked it in a 9 X 13 pan. My daughter, who only picks at food, had three helpings! My picky son ate it! I did do a substitution: I used whole wheat ravioli instead of lasagna noodles as I didn't have any in the house. I also added a half cup of ground beef as others suggested. Will definately make again!

Easy Honey Mustard Mozzarella Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2010
Use 3TB honey and 2TB mustard. Wrap each chicken breast in a piece of bacon. Rub the honey/mustard on. Cook 400 for 25-30 minutes, then turn on broiler. Cook for a couple minutes each side to crisp bacon, sprikles mozza and broil another couple minutes. Cooked with lots of sauce, I took the kids' out at broiling time, and that worked too.

Cajun Chicken Lasagna

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2010
I tried this tonight. I made the homemade sauce version. My sauce seperated and all the butter ended up at the bottom. Since there wasn't enough sauce to soak into the noodles, they were burnt and dry. The kids ate the meat and I picked at what I could. It was a waste of ingredients.
