This was a really neat idea and also tasted great! Will make again, even if not in dice form. Thanks!

Soft, Moist and Gooey Cinnamon Buns

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2011
Loved this recipe! I never could quite get the other popular cinnamon bun recipe to work for me, but this one was great! I made these the night before and just refrigerated. In the morning, I took them out and let them get to room temp. I put them in the oven at 170 for 20 minutes and then cooked at the suggested temp for another 20 minutes. These were fantastic!

Garlic Parmesan Orzo

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2011
With all the great reviews, I was surpised to find that we found this dish to be too greasy with all that butter. I love butter and use it regularly, but it was just too much for our tastes. The flavour was very nice, but we couldn't quite get over the greasiness of the dish. Probably won't make again.

Scrumptious Frosted Fudgy Brownies

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2010
If you are looking for a fudgy brownie...then look no further! This is a very good recipe that got great reviews from all who tried it. For me, I would leave off the frosting in the future, but DH disagrees with me, so I think that is just a personal preference. Thanks so much for sharing!

Chicken Zucchini Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2010
This was a good dish that we will definitly make again! To reduce the calories and fat I used 1/4 C butter and 1/2 C milk as suggested by another reviewer as well as low-fat cream of chicken soup....it turnout our really nice. The only other change was leaving out the carrots as I didn't think they would be worht the effort. :)

Dip For The Stars

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2010
SO GOOD! I halved the recipe as it makes a very large serving. Used extra moist sun dried tomatoes without oil and ground them up in the food processor. As per other suggestions, drained oil off of pesto as much as possible and once the dip was set, I used papertowel to get some of that additional oil off. Served on a baguette and it got rave reviews from everyone. Thanks so much!

Sausage Mushroom Quiche

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2010
This was really good and we will make again for sure. It is not all that "eggy" but that was perfect for us. The only change was I used 1/4 cup of dried parsley instead of fresh.

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2010
So good! This is so easy and gets rave reviews every time I make it. I have found that it is best served warm with ice cream. It is very similar in flavor to some lava cakes we have had. I reduce the oil slightly, but that is the only change. So moist...yummy!!!!

Mini Ham And Cheese Rolls

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2010
These were really good. As mentioned by other reviewers, you can really use any cheese/meat combo you like. We used ham/cheddar and ham/havarti and both were great. This is a nice change from an everyday sandwich and very easy and simple to make.

Vikki's Red Bean Sausage

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2010
This was a very nice dish. I only used 1 can of red beans and subbed canned chile peppers instead of fresh. Like other reviewers noted, do watch the heat on this with the chiles and cayenne. Will make again!

Maria's Rice

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2010
This was really easy and a great way to jazz up some plain rice. Based on reviews I used brown rice, dry french onion soup mix instead of canned, 1 C water, 1/4C butter. It was a bit salty...but we like salt and I am sure that was due to the dry soup mix. Thanks!

Slow Cooker Reuben Dip

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2010
This was a really great change from the usual crockpot dips. DH didn't care of it, but I am not sure he likes Reuben sandwiches....so that is to be expected. The only change was that I subbed 1 C of swiss for 1 C of Mozzerella as we are not big fans of Swiss. We couldn't really taste the salad dressing, so I may add more next time. I will make again!

Spinach Brownies

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2010
Yum! My changes as suggested were reducing the butter to 1/4 cup and instead of step 2, I sauteed a package of frozen spinach (thawed and drained) with onions and a bit of minced garlic. Thanks so much!

Dee's Roast Pork for Tacos

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2010
This is very good! I put everything in the crockpot, cook on low for 6 hours, shred pork, then back in the crock for another 2 hours. I do not drain the chilies and use a whole package of spicy taco mix. I also add a can of tomatos w/chilies. I will be using the leftovers for enchiladas. Thanks so much for the great recipe that my DH gives a rave review!
