Okay, I am in so happy that this recipe is everything and more than I could have hoped for. I am pretty new to burger substitutes, so I was a little nervous. This recipe is amazing! My picky carnivorous husband gobbled one down with cheese as soon as I took them out of the oven. They smelled so good! I did make some minor changes... I was out of chili powder so I added a dash of Tabasco, 1/8 tsp paprika and a dash of cayenne pepper along with the Thai chili sauce and cumin. The burgers were terrific this way so I doubt I will ever make them with chili powder. Also I used Sarah Lee 45 cal bread for my crumbs to save a few calories.I sprayed the burgers with a little Pam to prevent sticking. I baked them at 375 for 10 min on each side. Mine held together fine just be careful. Let them sit for a few minutes and they should be fine. Thanks for the recipe. I will definitely make these again and again! Freeze the leftovers!
