Flank Steak Pinwheels

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2014
Wonderful recipe! I am usually disappointed with flank steak, but we pounded and pierced before marinating and it made all the difference. The flavors are wonderful and it makes a nice presentation.

These are delicious! Recipe makes a ton of cookies. I would recommend using parchment paper and adding more chocolate chips!

Shrimp Lemon Pepper Linguini

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2013
Loved, loved, loved this recipe! I did increase the sauce ingredients, but not the pepper and it was perfect. Added langostinos along with the shrimp to make it even more tasty, if possible! Fresh lemon and herbs are essential.

Chiarello's Chicken and Pastina Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2013
Absolutely delicious! An easy recipe that I did not change one bit. I did need to add more broth after the soup sat for awhile as the pasta sucks up alot of the broth. My family loved it!

Oven Brown Rice

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2013
Great recipe! I used regular broth but did not add any other salt. I also used olive oil instead of butter. I added chopped garlic, dried onion and Italian seasoning. Cooked for an hour and then added about 1/2 cup of water and continued cooking for another 20 min. Perfect!

Veal Scaloppini with Lemon Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2012
I used this recipe with chicken cutlets and used fat free half-and-half for the sauce. Delicious, easy recipe that looks like you spent much more time preparing!

Cabbage Rolls II

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2012
Great recipe. My mother always cooked her cabbage rolls in water for awhile so she could drain the fat and then she added the sauce and continued cooking. She also froze her head of cabbage, thawed and the leaves were ready to go!

Crispy Rosemary Chicken and Fries

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2012
What a great recipe! I love chicken thighs ( boneless, skinless) and highly recommend using them. I added some sliced portabellas during the last 15 min. Great recipe for a work day. Tastes like you spent hours making it!

Zucchini Risotto

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2012
Delicious recipe! I used chicken stock and chopped the zucchini into small pieces. Make sure you don't peel the zucchini as the dark green looks great with he sun dried tomatoes. I only made 1/2 the recipe, but next time I will make the whole thing! Some shrimp thrown in at the end would make a great meal!

We love this recipe! I'm from Pittsburgh and this is exactly like Primanti's! We tried it on grilled hot dogs and it is now our favorite topping!

Italian Sausage Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2012
Delicious recipe for this cold winter day! I used 1/2 Italian and 1/2 hot sausage and added one more can of stewed tomatoes. I do not drain the sausage but rather wait until the soup cools, then refrigerate and remove the fat from the top. I'm a bean fan so I might add another can of beans the next time.

Rich Penne Pasta

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2009
I LOVED this dish! Wasn't so sure how the different flavors would blend, but they do! I used stewed tomatoes with basil already added and broke up the tomatoes. I also used fat free half and half (the good brand) and you would not know the difference! I've passed this one on to friends and they love it! Thought that 12 oz. of pasta was a little too much for one recipe of sauce, but I like a lot of sauce!
