My cooking tragedies
When I was young and first started cooking I was making a cake. Simple, from the box. I didn't want to take the time to pull out the mixer so I mixed it using a large spoon. When I removed the cake from the oven there was a large "bump" in the middle of the pan. I carefully started scraping the top and saw "yellow." When I mixed the cake I missed one of the eggs; the egg yolk had baked whole!!

Sweet Restaurant Slaw
Gteat recipe! I read the reviews so went with a light Hellmans, 2 T of olive oil and used less than 1/4 cuo of splenda. My husband was thrilled with the slaw!

Italian Wedding Cookies III
GREAT recipe. I only had 1 stick of the unsalted butter so the other two sticks were margarine and I had to use pecans instead of almonds. The cookies were part of Christmas gifts I gave to co-workers. Everyone loved these cookies the best out of the assortment I gave them. I had to make another batch the next night and they came out good, but the first batch was better. I really think if I had used the unsalted butter it would have made a big difference. I didn't have problems like others did as far as the cookies crumbling.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup
This soup was fantastic! My husband couldn't get enough of it. I read the other reviews and took a little of their recommendations; I used the low fat chicken broth instead of the bouillon and when I served the soup I sprinkled cheese and green onions. Oh, I also had some brocolli that I added.
