My passion is growing herbs. I also love to cook with the herbs that I grow. So I am always looking for recipes that use fresh ingredients. Slow roasted meats like turkey, roasts, and stews. I also love to prepare a variety of meats for my husband to cook either on the grill or in the smoker. It really does make a difference if you marinate or dry rub your meats before cooking over the grill or in a smoker! Homemade chicken & noodles for any family gathering is my all time favorite. However, I now cheat and use the frozen pre-made noodles. Another family tradition that I am exploring is canning. I still have much to learn in this area!
