Sexy Shrimp Scampi

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2011
My first time ever making Shrimp Scampi. I made this tonight for an appetizer while my dinner was cooking. This was quick, simple and easy. The next time, I will have it as the main course but I will add some fresh parsley, white wine, broccoli, and fresh parmesan cheese, served on top of some pasta along with garlic bread and a side salad. Yummy!!!

Guacamole

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2011
This was very good. I almost ate up all the guacamole before my guess arrived. LoL!! Instead of using the ground cayenne pepper, I chopped up a jalapeno pepper. I did use a little fresh cilantro, and a red onion other than that I pretty much stuck to the recipe.

Black Walnut Pound Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2010
I had some black walnuts so I decided to give this recipe a try, and……….wow! It came out so moist and tasty. I used the “Classic Vanilla Butter Cream Frosting” (from this site) which was a good combination. I will make this again.

Beef Stroganoff II

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2011
I didn’t have time for the crock-pot version. This was quick, simple and delicious. I basically followed the recipe, the only things I added was, I sautéed a can of mushrooms along with some onions and garlic. I add a can of beef broth and a couple of dashes of Worcestershire sauce to the soup. Then I added 2 Tblsp of cream cheese along with the sour cream before serving. This was good. Daughter love it and Hubby asked me to make this again!!! Thanks for the recipe!

Roasted Garlic Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2011
Excellent! This was very easy to make. I will be making my own garlic bread for now on, no more store brought garlic bread. This is much better than the store-bought frozen garlic bread that I used to buy, and it’s much cheaper too. I had all the ingredients on hand, except for the Italian loaf bread, so I used a loaf of French wheat bread because that was what I had. However, I am garlic lover so the next time I make this, I will be adding more garlic. Thanks for sharing!

Pita Pizza

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2011
These were delicious. My family really enjoyed this. This was the first time I every cooked pizza on the grill and it won’t be the last. I used Boboli mini 8” pizza crust. Everyone through it was fun fixing their own pizza. I sautéed some onions, green peppers, fresh mushrooms and fresh baby spinach on my pizza, put it on the grill the crust was nice and crusty, it was just delicious. Like other viewer said, I will probably not order pizza again, at least not in the summer months.

Shrimp and Feta Cheese Pasta

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2012
I made this tonight for dinner. This was really, really good for a pasta dish without sauce, which is what my family is used to eating. I did take the advice of another viewer; I added an extra tablespoon of white wine, extra garlic (just because my family loves garlic) and I used a chicken bouillon cube to add a little more favor, because viewers stated the dish was bland.

Easy Alfredo Sauce I

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2010
I am a novice at making sauce, but I made this sauce the other night and it was very easy to make and it was very delicious. I love garlic so I just added a little grated garlic to the sauce, served it with some grill chicken. I will not be buying jar Alfredo sauce from the store again. Thanks.

Spaghetti Salad III

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2010
I make pasta salads all the time, and I basically use the same ingredients and sometime I include broccoli, but I always use Salad Supreme. It gives the salad extra favor. I didn’t have any shredded Cheddar cheese so I used Feta cheese which I always use too. Great Salad!!!!!

Corned Beef and Cabbage

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2012
This was Delicious, followed the recipe exactly as written, I didn't have baby carrots so I chopped four or five regular carrots into large pieces. Three cups of water was too much for the piece of CB that I had, I should have cut it back to atleast 2 cups. Also, I should have browned the meat first before putting it in the slow cooker, so after the CB was done, I put it in a dish and stuck it in the oven so it could brown. Will make this again, thanks for sharing!!

I made this tonight, and it was good. A nice change instead of frying. Hubby really like it. He said when he cooks his deer chops, he will use the same seasonings.

Grilled Asparagus

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2012
I followed the recipe to a “T”, didn’t make no changes. This was the very first time I had ever eaten and/or cooked asparagus, and it was delicious!!! I made this tonight with rice and fried pork chops. Next time, just to try them a different way, I will marinate them in Italian dressing and use garlic power as suggested by other reviewers. I will be buying more asparagus because of this recipe. I found a new vegetable!!! Thanks for sharing!!!!
