I made this last night for dinner, and my family and guest love it!! This was very delicious. The meat was so tender and the gravy was very flavorful. I did make a few changes, instead of 1 ¼ cups of water, I used 1 cup of water, ¼ cup of red wine, and 1/3 cup of beef broth, I also add garlic power and a little season salt to the liquids. I tenderized and then marinated the meat with black pepper, and some beef seasoning, then stuck it in the fridge for about 30 minutes. I then took the meat out, and let it get room temperature. I then seared the meat by heating an iron skillet with some olive oil, adding flour to the meat. I sliced up some onions and carrots and placed some under and some on top the roast. I then pour the liquids over the meat. I did not have time to cook it in the slow cooker, so I put it in the oven and it came out perfect. I will definitely make again!!!! Thanks Brenda for sharing!
