Marinated Baked Pork Chops

I made this tonight for dinner, and it was SUPERB! I didn’t change a thing, just added a little season salt and pepper to the pork chops, before pouring the sauce over them to bake. I will be keeping this recipe to make this again, and again. Thanks!

Guacamole

This was very good. I almost ate up all the guacamole before my guess arrived. LoL!! Instead of using the ground cayenne pepper, I chopped up a jalapeno pepper. I did use a little fresh cilantro, and a red onion other than that I pretty much stuck to the recipe.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

This was very good. I only used one can of biscuit dough. I added a can of chicken broth which was suggested by other reviews, I seasoned the chicken with poultry seasoning that I had made and Season salt. Thanks for sharing!!

Sexy Shrimp Scampi

My first time ever making Shrimp Scampi. I made this tonight for an appetizer while my dinner was cooking. This was quick, simple and easy. The next time, I will have it as the main course but I will add some fresh parsley, white wine, broccoli, and fresh parmesan cheese, served on top of some pasta along with garlic bread and a side salad. Yummy!!!

Roasted Garlic Bread

Excellent! This was very easy to make. I will be making my own garlic bread for now on, no more store brought garlic bread. This is much better than the store-bought frozen garlic bread that I used to buy, and it’s much cheaper too. I had all the ingredients on hand, except for the Italian loaf bread, so I used a loaf of French wheat bread because that was what I had. However, I am garlic lover so the next time I make this, I will be adding more garlic. Thanks for sharing!

Beef Stroganoff II

I didn’t have time for the crock-pot version. This was quick, simple and delicious. I basically followed the recipe, the only things I added was, I sautéed a can of mushrooms along with some onions and garlic. I add a can of beef broth and a couple of dashes of Worcestershire sauce to the soup. Then I added 2 Tblsp of cream cheese along with the sour cream before serving. This was good. Daughter love it and Hubby asked me to make this again!!! Thanks for the recipe!

Cranberry Sauce

I made this for Thanksgiving, and this was so easy and to my husband and guest it was so very good; but to me the orange juice seems to be a bit over powering. The next time I will use just a half a cup of orange juice, but I will never buy the can sauce again. BTW I add dried cranberries while it was cooking.

Easy Alfredo Sauce I

I am a novice at making sauce, but I made this sauce the other night and it was very easy to make and it was very delicious. I love garlic so I just added a little grated garlic to the sauce, served it with some grill chicken. I will not be buying jar Alfredo sauce from the store again. Thanks.

Honey Ginger Carrots

I made these carrots tonight and they were good. I normally do not bother with carrots, unless I am making a carrot cake, lol, but I’m trying to incorporate more veggie with my meals. I will make this dish again, but will use fresh ginger as other reviewers suggusted. Thanks.

I made it as written. I did not read others readers suggestions because I wanted to taste it as is, and it was good. The next time I make this, I will try it with a little sugar, and then after that I will try it with ingredients that other readers have suggested.

Spaghetti Salad III

I make pasta salads all the time, and I basically use the same ingredients and sometime I include broccoli, but I always use Salad Supreme. It gives the salad extra favor. I didn’t have any shredded Cheddar cheese so I used Feta cheese which I always use too. Great Salad!!!!!

Beer Batter Fish Made Great

This did not work for me. I got better results just by dipping the fish in flour then in an egg and again in flour mixed with seasoned cornmeal which I added pepper, obay, garlic and seasoned salt.

Fried Rice Restaurant Style

Fabulous! I followed the recipe to a T. I did sub brown rice for the white rice, don’t eat white rice. I just added some diced onions, salt and pepper to taste. I served this with the “Asian Orange Chicken” recipe that is on this site, which was also delicious.

Asian Orange Chicken

I made this last night and it was delicious! The sauce deserves 5 stars all by it self! I didn’t have fresh ginger, but had some ground ginger on hand so I used that. I used skinless, boneless chicken thighs instead, didn’t have any chicken breast. I did not have the time to marinate the chicken for 2 hour, so I only marinated it for about 45 minutes in the fridge. I used vegetable oil instead of olive oil to fry the chicken. I forgot to add the garlic, but it was still delicious. Changes that I will make the next time are: I would totally bypass the whole marinating process; the breading does not stick when this is done. I will reduce the brown sugar and reduce cornstarch. The brown sugar makes it a little too sweet and cornstarch made the sauce really gummy. I will definitely dredge the chicken in flour, then in egg wash, then flour again so the chicken would be crispy and the flour can stick to the chicken. I would also add green and red peppers. As one reviewer stated, that I think is a good idea, if you are planning on making this again in which I'm definitely am, is to the make extra sauce ahead of time and freezing it. I served this with the “Fried Rice Restaurant Style” recipe that is on this site, which was also good.

Hamburger Steak with Onions and Gravy

I made this for dinner last night, and this was excellent!!! The only changes I made were…… I substituted the listed seasonings for a half a pack of Lipton Recipe Secrets “Beefy Onion” seasoning, which gave the ground beef a lot of flavor; and so the gravy would not be bland, I seasoned the gravy with Seasons All salt, pepper, garlic power and onion power. My husband and daughter love it and they suggested to add mushrooms the next time I make. We ate it with egg noodles; but the next time around I think I am going to try it with brown rice.

Blooming Onion and Dipping Sauce

Yummy!!! this sauce was great. I didn't have any oregano, but this still turned out delicious! I only had hot cream-style horseradish so I only used 1 tblsp of that and omitted the cayenne pepper cause hubby doesn't like spicy food. I used this dip with the "Old Fashioned Onion Rings" that is on this site, and that is a great recipe.

Old Fashioned Onion Rings

I made these tonight and they were delicious! I never made onion rings before and they turned out great, so great that my husband asked me to make another batch. I used panko bread crumbs, and I also used the "Blooming Onion and Dipping Sauce" which is also on this site. Great sauce.
