Walnut Thumbprints

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2014
'Love this recipe. Did not use baking soda as per other review, also instead of refrigerating 30 min, it was late so I left in fridge over night. OMG! Everyone wanted more. So I baked more! They are so delish! In some I put a chocolate kiss. YUMMY! Making some more today. My family, the little girls that live behind me and their Mama LOVE them. This has been some of the best Christmas cookies EVER as told by family and friends!

Garlic Pork Roast

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2013
OMG!!! So good! Mike had never had sweet potatoes that didn't have brown sugar, (he did not like sweet potatoes because of that)...after this dinner he loves them! I was scared to do it. I couldn't imagine sweet potatoes cooked with a roast. SO GOOD!! And in the crock pot no less, so easy! I went about our busy day and that evening we ate like I had been in the kitchen all day. AWESOME, a MUST try. I only needed this recipe for two, but followed it completely (for two).

Grandma's Corn Bread Dressing

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2013
This recipe is a lot like the one my family uses (my grandmas). Only the chicken stock they're asking for is from the chicken we boil, and shred up to put in the dressing. And we bake our corn bread in a cast iron skillet. Green onion is good in it also.

Cilantro Lime Catfish

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2013
I made this with a few changes...I marinaded the catfish in the lime juice about 15 minutes. I baked it in 350* for 25 minutes. I followed everything else. GOOOOOD! fast and easy.

Mike's Mushroom Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2013
This was so good paired up with Lobster Ravolli and shrimp Bisque! I only needed enough for 4 servings. I didn't have fresh mushrooms though so I used a 4oz can drained. YUM!!!

Fluffy Chocolate M&M™ Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2012
Well the photo is not for this recipe. These cookies are a chocolate brown. I needed more than what this recipe makes,(24 servings vs 60 servings). Thought that was too much butter so I cut out a cup of butter. Did not melt my butter, but instead creamed my butter with sugar.(accidentally/glad I did). Rolled into 1 1/2" balls, and baked for 12 minutes...They were not greasy. When I took them out of oven, I dropped tray on the counter. Then continued to cool as suggested. (Only let stay on tray for 5 minutes.) Very yummy, family are hard critics, they wouldn't even let them completely cool. Son in law ate one a little warmer and announced,"Now that's how I like a cookie!"
