I have been a homemaker for past 25 years, and my husband and I have nine children, and one grandson. We live in central Wisconsin. I enjoy cooking, gardening, and sewing, and I do lots of volunteer work.
My favorite things to cook
I have a grain grinder and have cooked whole wheat bread from scratch and taught community classes on whole wheat bread making, and have done home ec classes in schools for the same. I especially love doing grade school level classes the kids are fantastic and love to make personal pan whole wheat pizza's and are fascinated.
My favorite family cooking traditions
When my husband and I cook together, our kids love the all the smells esp. of the seasons.
My cooking triumphs
Teaching at the Art Center and a local Community College on specialty breads. I also took a cooking class from a well reknowned French Cook and learned to make the most awesome bread pudding. It was alot of fun, however too expensive to continue, I was her guest.
My cooking tragedies
Thankfully haven't been too many, my family eats just about any and all flops!
