Glazed Apple Cookies

amazing! my kids love them. i took the advice of other reviewers and used butter instead of shortening. i also added more flour because it must have been humid that day and the first batch of cookies spread out too much in the oven. thanks for sharing!

Cabbage Fat-Burning Soup

i didnt have any onion soup mix on hand, so i used some garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper and added a little red pepper, not to mention v8 instead of plain tomato juice. it was very good

Crescent-Wrapped Brie

very good. i used the seamless crescent dough, cut a circle around the brie, wrapped it up, then used the excess dough to cut out shapes for holly and placed them on top before baking. it came out so pretty looking.

Any Flavor Taffy

I used a sugar free packet of cherry limeade mix, since i dont usually have koolaid in my cabinets, and the flavor was amazing. it was a sticky mess for quite a while and the butter wasnt working on my hands very well, so i kept spraying my hands with a little water when the taffy became sticky and that worked well. i pulled for a good 10-15 minutes until it became light in color, then i rolled it out and cut it with my kitchen shears. my husband loved it, so i will definitely make this again.
