WOW, in a Nutshell AMAZING...I Was Really Starting to Doubt my Cooking Ability, After I Had Tried a Couple of Recipes from this Site, With Rather Mediocre Results...But Christinas Review Convinced me to Give This One a Try.......This Dish, and Marilyn G's Lima & Navy Bean Soup is Something I Could Eat Everyday for the Rest of Me Life!!! First of all Your Gonna Need a Gi-Normous Baking Pan to fit all of this in, or at least 2 Good Sized Ones...I Like to Modify Recipes to try and Up the Nutritional Value...So I Used 2lbs. of Sweet Turkey Italian Sausage, and a 1lb. bag of Baby Carrots that I Nuked for about 4 minutes Prior...And instead of Just Regular Chicken Stock, I Used a Good Heaping Tablespoon of the Chicken Soup Base, Because the Turkey Italian tends to be a bit Blander than Pork Based Sausage...Also I Would Recommend Being Frugal with the Salt or even wait Until U are Finished Cooking...this Soup Base has Much More Sodium than Stock... I Used a Riesling Wine, and After a Half cup in the Dish and Approximately 7 Cups in me, it was Done...Terrific Right from the Oven, and Even Better the Next Day After All the Ingredients Had Married...I've had Sausage and Peppers Before, but Never with Potatoes...I Arranged the Potato Slices on the Bottom of the Pan, so They Soaked up all that Wonderful Olive Oil, Stock, and Flavors from the Sausage and Peppers...I Also Added about 7 Cloves of Garlic Which I LOVE!!!...Beccabo 73, I Wanna Marry U Girl.......
