Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2011
Rinsed the mixed vegetables, omitted the egg and pre-baked bottom crust. Will make again!

Sweet and Sour Meatballs

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2011
The sauce smelled great, however, the meatballs fell apart in the slow cooker and the whole thing was watery and soupy. The sauce may be good on its own, but next time I would try using frozen meatballs or cooking the meatballs ahead of time.

No Bake Peanut Butter Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2011
I halved this recipe to make one pie. I made it the night before and put it in the freezer and didn't take it out until the following night during dinner time. After about an hour and a half in the fridge it had thawed and was perfect to serve. I only had natural peanut butter on hand and my friends said it was perfect and not too sweet. Will definitely make again!

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2011
I made this for a dinner party and everyone loved it. Didn't change a thing from the original recipe. The secret it using a quality beer and not a cheap light beer. Gives it a wonderful flavor. Adding cheddar, sour cream and chips is a must! Cornbread compliments this recipe perfectly.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2010
Used 4 chicken breasts. I used Jack Daniels bbq and Kraft Zesty Italian. Cooked on high for 2 1/2 hours then shredded chicken, added 1/2 yellow onion, sliced, and cooked on low for 1 more hour. Served on potato rolls, everyone loved it!

Key West Penne

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2010
Delicious! Omitted olives (preference). Like others, I sauteed a few cloves of garlic in oil from the tomatoes first. I cut back on the amount of heavy cream used and it was still nice and creamy. I cut the recipe in half and it was more than enough for two people. Will make again.
