Chicken Zucchini Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2011
I sauteed the chicken, onion and zucchini before adding it and used a little less butter-other then that followed exactly and it was Delicious! So good, I have to double it now because everyone wants more.

Stuffed Peppers

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2010
This was a hit at dinner last night. I did a few things different just to suit my family's taste: used turkey instead of beef, brown rice, and one can of diced tomatoes and one 8 oz can of tomato sauce in the stuffing mix. Then I used 2 cans tomato sauce and the italian seasoning for the topping. I covered and cooked for 1 hour at 375* and then added cheese and cooked another 10 minutes uncovered. The peppers were perfect with out having to steam them first. I added a little more seasoning then called for and you can add in your favorites to make it your own. This is one of those dishes that leaves room for you to season how you want. I will keep this one handy!

Turkey Brine

The ONLY way to make a turkey. I got so many compliments on how it was the juciest meat ever! It leaves the meat with a perfect flavor for turkey soup too!!

Sugar Cookie Cutouts

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2009
Ok. I left the dough, as suggeted in other reviews, in the fridge over night. I did not find it easy to work with at all...maybe I had too much flour? The taste was 'ok' too. Not really worth the effort.

Restaurant-Style Prime Rib Roast

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2009
It was easy to make and the meat was flavorful but I did overcook a bit. I think the temp needs to be a little lower. Had a 10# roast and it was done in 2 1/2 hours. I had to keep adding beef broth to the pan becaue it was smoking a little. It sat out for about an hour and got too done while I was waiting on the side dishes. I will try again but not exactly what I thought it would be.

Beets with Onion and Cumin

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2009
We love beets and this is a great recipe for everyone, even my 8 year old eats it. The only thing I do different is I do not put the tomatoes.
