Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2012
This was the recipe I was looking for! It was simple and just like me mom used to make! I used a stone that had 4 small loaves in it instead of a large loaf. It turned out perfect! The bread was moist and flavorful. My bananas weren't as ripe as they should have been so I bruised them up by mashing them extra and the bread was perfect! Thanks for a great simple recipe!

Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies II

Very Good! I like this recipe because of the shortening-it adds that moist taste that lacks from the Tollhouse recipe!! This was delicious!

Toddler Muffins

I made these with oatmeal instead of oat bran only because I didn't have any. They were amazing. I can't wait to buy some oat bran to make them again! Thanks for a tasty recipe!

Cheddar Turkey Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2010
I was pleasantly surprised by this! It was delightful! I didn't have long grain rice, so I used quick cooking barley and jasmine rice. After reading that it could use a little more spice, I added some seasonings to the rice while it cooked. Very tasty-feel good meal!

Boston Baked Beans

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2011
I made this for my husband's birthday party and it was a hit! Everybody wanted the recipe and loved the taste! The only thing I did differently was simmer the beans for 1.5 hours and put then in a crock pot on low for 8 hours. Perfect. I made a triple batch and there is only a little bit left.

Buttercream Icing

I have used this exact recipe for many years now and have no desire to change. Many people comment on my "secret" frosting recipe and want to know what it is!

Sugar Cookie Icing

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2012
This leaves a very shiny icing that sets quickly after frosted. It needed more milk, it was nearly enough as other reviews had stated. I just mixed in milk slowly until I had the desired consistency!

This was the best chicken salad I have ever had! It was such a hit when I made it! I did add some seasoned salt but other than that, I will not be buying canned chicken again. This is a recipe that needs to be on hand at all times!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Excellent! I can't say anything else besides-EXCELLENT!! I didn't change anything except for I used frozen blueberries. They were amazing. You seriously need to try this recipe and you will NEVER go back. As other reviewers have stated: Grease, Grease, Grease your muffin tins! You will enjoy! Thanks for such an amazing recipe!

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2010
These were excellent! I did add 1/2 cup extra sugar after reading a few of the comments. I rolled them out in powdered sugar and cut them into my desired shapes and cooked them on parchment paper. The cookies were cooked perfect. Super soft and delicious!! Keep the dough you are not using the the fridge until needed. The colder-the better. I also refrigerated the dough overnight. Great recipe!! Thanks!

Best Moist Chocolate Cake

I made cupcakes out of this and it was very tasty! They cooked perfectly! The cake was very fluffy and moist. The only thing I would do differently would be to add a little more cocoa. But great recipe otherwise!!!

Peanut Butter and Honey No-Bake Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2010
These were great! I wasn't sure how they were going to turn out after hearing that they didn't set. But, they were perfect! I added a dash of vanilla while it was boiling and I boiled it for 2-2 1/2 minutes instead of the 90 secs. I also added about 3 3/4 cup oats. They set up great and not too sticky! We ate almost the whole batch!
