My favorite family cooking traditions
Meatless Polish meal consisting of perogies, kapusta, and prunes on Christmas eve. Every Saturday morning we have a fruit platter, muffins, and donuts. Every Sunday we have either pancakes, French toast, or waffles. Christmas morning and Easter morning, we have baked goods from the Polish bakery: babka loaf, poppyseed loaf (sweet poppyseed filling rolled insight a light sweet bread), and an apple coffeecake.

Hodie's Sloppy Joes
Good as is, almost exactly what I was looking for - a simple, basic sloppy joes recipe. But when I tasted it while cooking, I decided to add 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce. Then it was perfect. I made a half batch, so for those making a full batch, you may want to add 2 tsp of Worcestershire sauce instead.

Pie Crust I
I used butter rather than shortening. Otherwise, it was exactly what I wanted - a basic crust.

Slow Cooker Carolina BBQ
I have a different recipe for North Carolina BBQ that I like much better. In the end, I added regular old bbq sauce (i.e. turning it into something completely different) to this to make it enjoyable.
