Juicy Thanksgiving Turkey

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2011
I have to admit, I have been trying to make a moist turkey for years. FINALLY this year I was extremely pleased with the final product. The champagne is what makes it. I didn't believe it at first but sure enough it is very true. I will continue to make all my turkeys following this recipe!

Roasted Pork Loin

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2009
I was expecting much more from this, especially since there were so many great reviews. I found it to be fairly dry, and not as flavorful as I thought it was going to be. But my family was happy, just not the best meal ive ever made.

Slow Cooker Carnitas

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2009
delicious delicious delicious! I was only cooking for 3 people so i cut the meat in half and still doubled on the spices! I also cut half an onion in wedges and put it on the side of the roast. all day the house smelled wonderful! after only about 8 hours it was well cooked and as i pulled it out of the slow cooker, it was falling apart. it was very tender and flavorful meat! i made flauntas with it, with suggestions from another recipe. very tasty and enjoyable. i will make this recipe again and maybe make BBQ pulled pork sandwiches out of it.

Chicken Flautas

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2009
I combined this recipe with the slow cooker carnitas recipe on this website. first i roasted a pork shoulder in a slow cooker for about 8 hour, following the seasoning suggested in the slow cooker carnitas recipe. after about 8 hours as i pulled it out it was falling apart and smelled delicious. i easily pulled it apart and put it on a baking sheet and cooked it at 400 for 10 minutes. after i pulled it out i followed this recipe, and they came out amazing! I only had cheddar cheese and it worked just fine. I served these with a side of sour cream and every was very happy! however i made so many, i had to freeze half of them! but it will be a quick easy meal another night!

Spinach and Pasta Shells

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2009
This recipe was easy to make! I used red pepper powder instead of red pepper flakes cause my family is not big on spice and seemed to do the trick. I also added shrimp and tomatoes! Its not very flavorful, but its a healthy meal that is satisfying.

My dad is a picky eater, but always gets seconds when I make this dish! I have never used 1/2 cup of butter, just because of the other reviews. It is always delicious and easy to make! Makes everyone happen
