Mapled Ham

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2010
This is a great recipe although it was not clear regarding the water and syrup from can of pineapples. I believe you do NOT add the water to the syrup mixture that you heat, water just goes at bottom of pan to steam and keep the ham moist. Can of pineapple syrup I wasn't sure so added 1/2 the can to the heated syrup mixture. I also added a tsp of liquid smoke to the syrup mixture. Turned out great!! Thanks again for the recipe!

Fluffy Pancakes

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2010
This recipe is great! if you like light & airy pancakes they are fantastic! I'm not crazy about pancakes probably because I've thrown away so many boxes of Bisquick over the years. But by using this recipe I think I'll be more inclined to make them! Thanks for the great recipe!

Rocky Road Popcorn Balls

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2009
It's an easy good recipe for something alittle more than a regular popcorn ball. Here's a tip though, 8 cups of cooked popcorn is 1/2 cup uncooked kernels. I actually tripled the recipe, then you need to consider do I have a big enough pot.

Exquisite Pizza Sauce

Reviewed: May 26, 2008
wow Very nice! I chose this recipe not only because of the good ratings, but I didn't want to make a Gallon of sauce. It turns out this would be the perfect amount for two 14" pizzas! The sauce tasted alittle sweet, but once baked it was just right! Thanks for the great recipe!

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2008
I made these at Christmas with other cookies to give away to co-workers. Everyone was pleasantly surprise with the lemony flavor! I liked them so much I ended up remaking these two more times during Christmas! This recipe will definitely be kept with my other favorites!

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2008
I doubled the batch to take to work. It came out absolutely perfect! I also made some honey-butter to take along (1:1 ratio of honey & butter). Everyone loved it at work and although I thought I made too much, I came home with an empty container. I made it again to see how long it would stay moist....if you have a pyrex top 3 days is no problem!

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2008
This is my 2nd time making chili and it turned out great! The number of ingredients required was alittle overwhelming at first, but since I bake and cook alot I soon realized I had 3/4 of the ingredients. This was easy to prepare and the flavor is likeable for everyone. Definitely recommend.

Seven Layer Tex Mex Dip

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2007
EXCELLENT recipe!! Everyone loved it! Several asked for the recipe also. I did find it hard to find the right size container though, but I did figure it out and thought I should share with everyone. If you use an 8 cup container it fits perfectly. Enjoy!

The texture was good but I prefer alittle more sugar. We disguised it by using alittle butter.

Parmesan and Basil Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2007
What a wonderful flavor! I can barely stop myself from remaking this week after week! Our group at work enjoys it, and my neighbors enjoy it too! I even started growing my own basil plants to keep up with the demand and at the same time keep the cost down. Very few people even detect the large amount of celery used in this recipe. This recipe I will use for life! Thank you!

Asparagus Quiche

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2004
I've tried several quiche recipes now and this one seems to of went over the best at the office. Everyone asked for the recipe! Instead of Swiss Cheese I used Sharp Cheddar, I feel Sharp Cheddar and Bacon are just a match made in heaven. Also I added a 1/4 cup cheese for each pie and left out the salt. Thanks for the YUMMY recipe!!

Ever since having Tortilla Soup at El Torito in California I've always looked for a similar recipe, and I think this is it!!! This soup was amazingly simple, and good! For a change it was nice not having to purchase a new set of condiments in order to cook!

I added 1/2 tsp of cloves and added chopped pecans for texture. Turned out fine, the only thing i noticed was, you can taste the baking soda. It's moist and fluffy, I'll make it again.
