Cranberry Sauce Chicken II

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2005
I have used a similar recipe many times and it is absolutely fabulous. I know you might think the combo of ingredients is rather odd, but when they cook together, they taste wonderful! Here are some tips: You can use boneless skinless breasts and cook for about an hour. Thousand island dressing is what I have always used (as opposed to Russian dressing) and it is great. You can use jellied cranberry sauce or whole cranberry sauce and both work fine. Covering with tin foil for at least 1/2 the baking time is recommended as the sauce may burn a bit. Finally, make sure you make some rice with this to soak up the yummy sauce! Enjoy!

Fudgey Pecan Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2005
Wow! This pie is sure to cure any chocolate cravings. It was simple to make and tasted fabulous. Just be warned that it doesn't exactly have that "pecan pie" taste- it does taste a little more like a nutty brownie. But you should definitely try it!

Chocolate-Laced Pecan Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2005
This pie was excellent! I never knew pecan pie was so easy to make. I might have added a few more chocolate chips or some cocoa powder to make it a tad more chocolatey but I wouldn't change anything else. Serving it warm wih a little vanilla ice cream and whipped cream is fantastic!

Hershey's ® Chocolate Mousse

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2003
Good but there were little bits of gelatin troughout the mousse. Maybe I didn't blend it well enough. But simple to make and has a good taste

Bread Pudding II

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2003
This recipe rules! I'm not a raisin fan so I put in chocolate chips instead. I also usually 1 1/2 times the recipe (9 slices of bread, etc)and it fits perfectly in a square pan. To top it off I make a vanilla sauce also from the website.

Carrot Cake III

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2002
Oh my god! Such an excellent cake. It was so moist and not too full of spices. I find the reason I dislike some carrot cakes has to do with nutmeg or cloves. This cake tasted great without them. I threw a little coconut into the batter as well. The frosting was great- I will use it to top other cakes too!

Pan Sauce Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2002
Not bad- but the flavor got old pretty fast. Adding the flour mixture caused lot of clumps which I had to strain out. I put it over bow ties which was a good way to mop up the sauce

Hershey's ® 'Perfectly Chocolate' Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2002
wow! this cake was so good! i've been a betty crocker or duncan hines cake mix girl my whole life, but now that i'm going to school in london i can't always find the mixes (or they are to expensive). This was so easy and it tasted so chocolately and moist- I will definitely make it again. I frosted with chocolate frosting (from this web page) and made some fresh whipped cream to eat it with. Delicious!

Caramel Cake I

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2002
This cake turned out quite good. I wanted something different- not just a vanilla or chocolate cake. I did only bake it for 20 minutes and it turned out very moist. I also stuck in some chocolate chip. I didn't want to overdo it with the caramel so I used a chocolate frosting recipe from the website. I would make it again!

Pretty good but I agree that it could use some more seasonings. I added garlic granules and salt and that helped

Chocolate Frosting I

Turned out quite good! I followed someone's suggestion of adding a little more cocoa instead of powdered suger towards the end- otherwise it would get too sweet. But good consistency and easy to make

Texas Ranch Chicken

Tasted really good but there was so much oil covering the chicken after it came out of the oven. We had to pour out at least 1/2 a cup of oil. But once we did that it tasted yummy!
