Margaritas to Die For

Reviewed: May 5, 2011
Awesome - I used three large limes and it was enough for about 2 & 1/2 drinks over ice. Used triple sec. Add an orange slice too - perfect!! Peel lime with a peeler so it is oh so easy to strain before serving!! Thanks for the recipe!

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2010
This recipe is fantastic. Seems like a lot of effort, but it really is easy. I added basil and parmesan to the cheese mixture and used two containers. I did not add any salt to the sauce. It was a nice, thick sauce with lots of flavor. Family and friends loved it! Thank you for the great recipe.

Cucumber-Avocado Salad Dressing

This recipe is a nice refreshing alternative! I am not a fan of cilantro myself so I used basil from our garden, used lime juice instead of lemon and added a pinch of sugar. Thank you for the recipe base!

Eggplant Parmesan I

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2012
I actually peeled and sliced this lengthwise to replace noodles for lasagna feel - it made spreading the cheese much easier. I also did not fry the eggplant. I used cottage cheese and egg, parmesan and mozz for the cheese filling. Layered and baked for 45 minutes. Broil for 5 minutes to get that nice brown cheese and it was awesome!

Slow Cooker Beef Stew IV

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2010
Great recipe. I added 2-3 pressed garlic cloves and half the onion when browning the meat. I also increased the carrots and potatoes a bit. I used a cheap sweet wine (Boonesfarm Sangria) and it was great!! You can convert this to a stove recipe in a dutch oven for 1.5 to 1.75 hours if you are short on time, Serve with french bread - yumm! Easily could use this recipe with vension or bear meat for the hunters!! Thanks for the recipe!!
