Creamy Spinach Dip

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2009
I think that too much spinach is used in this dip. Everything was perfect but many said it was too spinachy, next time I will use less because I was also looking for a more creamy white spinach dip.

Egg Salad I

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2009
I took the suggestions of other reviewers and used 3 heaping Tbsp. of mayo and 1 heaping Tbsp. of regular mustard because I think the dijon is just too much. I may cut the dill weed just a tiny bit next time because it is a little powerful but all around a good recipe!

Cheese Garlic Biscuits II

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2009
These were really good except I think there was too much garlic, my fiance who is a garlic lover said it was perfect...but if you're not one I would say maybe half a clove.

Mini OREO Surprise Cupcakes

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2009
These were very very good and a unique recipe for cupcakes..excellent...I ended up with alot of the leftover cream cheese mixture and I realized that I should have used more than the 1/2 Tbsp it says but really good will definitely make again!

Three Cheese Manicotti

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2009
These were pretty good but a little bland...I think it could use something else but can't pin point it..It's alot easier to fill the shells if you only cook for a few minutes, otherwise it's a mess and they just keep ripping in half..

Michelle's Peanut Butter Marbled Brownies

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2009
THESE ARE THE BEST BROWNIES I HAVE EVER TASTED. THEY ARE AMAZING. I NORMALLY ONLY DO BROWNIES FROM A MIX BECAUSE I THINK IT'S A PAIN BUT SOOOOO WORTH THE TROUBLE OF MAKING THEM HOMEMADE. WILL MAKE OVER AND OVER AGAIN..ADDICTIVE!

Cheesecake Bars

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2009
These were good although the crust was a little too crunchy and hard, I did not use the lemon juice because other reviewers said that is all you could taste, next time I think I may swirl strawberry or blueberry preserves through the mix.

Broccoli Chicken Casserole III

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2009
This casserole is absolutely amazing, wasn't sure because of all the reviews saying it was bland. Didn't even use the curry powder, didn't have it. I used about 1 1/2 pkgs frozen broccoli because that's what I had. I cooked the Broccoli first I added about 3/4 cup cheddar on top of the casserole with some crushed garlic cheese croutons about halfway through cooking time it did need that extra cheese, but was wonderful the black olives and the sour cream are key ingredients. Love this!

Spaghetti Pie III

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2009
This is sooo good, I made meatballs with it instead of crumbling ground beef in it, I made the meatballs seperately and added after spaghetti was out of the oven..I also used mozzarella on top because I thought it made more sense, you really only need 1/2 lb of spaghetti and that is plenty unless you're feeding a whole crew...the sour cream/cream cheese is very yummy! Definitely a keeper!

Baked Macaroni and Cheese III

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2009
This had an odd taste, I think it may have been the cheddar as opposed to american, and it was very very dry...I'm going to look around for a better mac n cheese recipe with maybe american cheese since it gives off a creamier consistency..my fiance said it was really good but, there's definitely better out there

Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2009
These were really good, I only used about 1/2 the 17.5 oz bottle of Frank's and I think that was perfect. I would only cook for about 5 hours that's all it needs. We put mozzarella and ranch on top..really good and easy!

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2009
This was really good, double the meat, the soup, and the water, add half pkg dry onion soup mix, I didn't use onion because of that, I added a small can of mushrooms and served over buttered egg noodles. The sauce could be a little thicker but it was very good, only needs to cook on LOW for 5 hours. I used 4 oz of ONLY sour cream, no cream cheese. Def a good dish with these changes!

Toll House Crumbcake II

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2009
this was good, didn't need to cook as long as stated maybe 30-35 minutes, the crumb topping didn't even matter in my opinion maybe i should've doubled it but it just bakes right into it and you don't even notice it i think it should be added later not as soon as you put it in the oven, it is pretty good but definitely only need about 1/2 cup in topping or none at all, and 1 cup in cake mix

Slow Cooker Chicken Cordon Bleu

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2009
really really good, i butterflied 3 large chicken breasts and stuffed them with one slice of ham each and mozzarella and cheddar cheese (hate swiss) and then covered in the soup/milk mix on top and bottom, added half of the stuffing and topped with a little melted butter, i added the other half of the stuffing a half hour before it was done, i only cooked on high for 3 hours and everything was wonderful don't know why people gave such bad reviews

Thanksgiving Leftover Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2009
mmm this was soo good, something different and a great way to use up your leftovers, definitely do the stuffing though like it says and don't use already made because it gave it a crunchiness...will definitely make again next year and years after...really good!
