Christmas Pastels

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2012
Same as the old jello cookie recipe, only they called for butter. Other than that, exactly the same. Memory serves it was on the old Jell-o box from the 60's or so. Still a favorite in my house. I make them for snacks for the kids. My mom made them for me. Strawberry is still the fav. here.

Blueberry Sour Cream Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2011
This is exactly like the old "Sock it to me" cake with the addition of Blueberries. Still a nice comfort food sort of cake though.

Strawberry Cake from Scratch

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2011
This recipe is a slight variation (because of the sugar) of one my mother made for us as children. It is a good cake. Although she used far less sugar, with the Jell-o, it makes it far too sweet. Also, you can use AP flour instead or mix AP and cake flour.
