Well, an interesting combination, but not really that good. I don't think I'll try it again, and it was grosse for leftovers...oh well, gotta try something once, right?

Feta Cheese Turkey Burgers

Just something about them sounded so good, but again, it was missing something of a kick. Might try again but add some "spicy" stuff to it.

Orzo and Tomato Salad with Feta Cheese

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2002
Well, first hint, don't use dried dill.. tastes like sticks in the salad. Interesting, but missing something, maybe more olives, maybe some italian dressing instead of lemon/vinegar combo.. I don't know, I don't think I'll make it again.

Garlic Green Beans

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2002
Couldn't rate it too high on Kid Friendly, but in my house it's difficult for kids to like anything thats not a frenchfry.. (KIDS!).. but hubby loved them, despite him liking his veges naked... he doesn't like trying new things.. typical.. but he was glad i made them.. he'll try them again! WOW, that's got to be an accomplishment! THANKS!

Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2002
OH MY GOODNESS! Wonderful! My husband is not a huge fan.. but he's goofy anyways. I brought this into work one night, and fed the Emergency room staff.. no one told me they weren't fans of salisbury steak.. who'da thought? but after they thought they'd be "kind" and try it.. they gobbled it up and requested it again! They said it turned them around with thoughts of salisbury steaks dancing through their heads! The gravy it made was the real winner! I did once substitute half ground turkey and half ground beef.. cut down the fat AND calories.. yummy! Thanks so much. A new staple in our house.. at least for the kids and me.. maybe not hubby, he can eat hot dogs!LOL

Buttermilk Honey Wheat Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2002
Am I the only one who wasn't all that pleased? It worked out just fine, breadmaker first, then out into bread pan, rose for over an hour, and baked as directed.. no problem, BUT, I don't know, too sweet? different texture? Perhaps it's the individual taste buds, right? But thanks, might be good as stuffing mixed with cornbread and pumpernickel.. sweeten the flavour of the stuffed bird!

Amazing Butternut Squash

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2002
My family absolutely detests squash, but I love it, AND it's good for you.. so here I went, and tried yet another squash recipe.. *you should have seen the look in my husbands eyes*... and to top it off I didn't realize that the friends we had over for dinner also disliked squash.. well.. they all tried it just to please me... and they LOVED IT! I didn't use the FULL amount of mayo, just cause someone said they thought it was too much.. but OH MY! yummy! Nice for haters and lovers of squash.. definately a winner! THANKS!

What a nice taste! The apples were perfect after about 5 minutes total in the microwave! Oh yummy! Thanks for the recipe.. it's a keeper

Buttermilk Pie IV

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2002
OH MY GOODNESS! I have NEVER had this pie before. It was like a combination of butterscotch and vanilla and melt in your mouth GOOD! The only thing I wasn't sure of was whether or not I should pre-bake the crust... I did not.. and it turned out SMASHING! Anytime I have leftover buttermilk from my famous pancakes, I am most certainly going to make this pie again and again! THANK YOU!

This cake was awful! Flat and heavy. I definately won't make this again! I was trying to find recipes to use up the "leftover" heavy cream... ick. I'll use the cake for trifle...now where's a recipe for that.....

Herbed Roasted Vegetables

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2001
Even my five year old picky eater wanted to eat some of it! I had different ingrediants on hand, and something else in oven at different temperature. So I used carrots, red onion, mushrooms and yellow squash (the zuchini type) and baked at 275 for about 45 minutes.. delicious! Will try other items similar, and at temperature as instructed.

Crab Rangoon I

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2001
Is it fair to rate it so well when you've changed the recipe? This was the only crab rangoon recipe I could find. My old recipe *lost in boxes* leaves out the ginger, the soya, and the like.. I just used:crab meat, cream cheese and garlic powder.. that's it.. and it was DELICIOUS!!!I'm not a fan of cilantro.. too strong.. so I made it MYYYY WAYYY!!!
