About this Cook
I grew up loving to cook and continue to spend lots of time in the kitchen. I have a daughter who is constantly wanting to make some treats. We enjoy making weekly treats for her teachers.
My favorite things to cook
I love making desserts. Cookies, bars, candies, homemade ice cream. You name it! Christmas in my kitchen is non stop baking!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Growing up at Christmas my mom would have lots of Christmas cookies we would all make each year. As kids we loved doing cut out cookies, each picking cookie cutters, once they were cooked and cooled we would frost and decorate.
My cooking triumphs
It seems every time I take a dessert somewhere, the recipe is always requested! My homemade cinnamon rolls are always a winner!
My cooking tragedies
Toffee is my biggest let down. I have been trying for years to make a great toffee like you can buy and just can't seem too do it! Can anyone help???

Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies
These were awesome! I followed others suggestion and increase flour to 1 3/4 and soda to 2t. I also added 2C. chocolate chips and no nuts. Ground one cup of the oatmeal to a flour texture. Definately will make again!

Hot Artichoke and Spinach Dip II
This is awesome! I took it to a party over the holidays and everyone raved about it! I am making again for Superbowl. My 13 year old daughter loves it..don't think she knows it has spinach and artichokes in it! I did substitute sour cream for the mayo and also added 4 cloves of garlic! Delicious!
