Better Days, ups and downs

Today was a better day then its been in awhile. I had the same pressure in my nose that I normally do and continue to achy/ light headed.

But, since I have back started taking the oil of oregano and doing the saline flushes with distilled water, I do find the symptoms have subsided quite a bit.  I wish the problem itself could be pinpointed- the vertigo, the lightheaded really does get old after a time.

To brighten my spirits, I'm making PIZZZZZZA tonight!!! Love love love... just jotting this quick blog while I wait for the yeast to rise. My favorite topping is pepperoni- my husband is a big sausage/yellow pepper/red onion fan.

I'm thinking of doing two pizzas tonight- one deep dish and one on the stone with basil, fresh tomatoes and some garlic. MMMM!!!  Tomorrow is a new day and with much prayers, the symptoms will continue to dissipate...

Good girl, doin' those flushes with distilled water. Ihad a bout of this last year and I was down with it for almost 4 months. This year much less pressure and congestion, and no painful headaches. I still use the saline flushes regularly and think that is the differece. I amde homemade pepperoni pizza Friday for dinner and it was so good, looks like we think in the same track.

Yeah Yeah!! I made pizza last night and it was devoured. I had a horrible nights sleep last night so I know I'm not going to feel as well today. Lack of sleep always accerbates my symptoms. The oil of oregano really seems to help. Not sure all the healing properties it has in it but the only side effect is you smell like pizza!!

About Me
Running at top speed mama to two, I love to write and cook. My blog focuses on cooking stories tied into life with my wild ones. I'm passionate about my wonderful children, husband, Siamese cat and coming soon puppy. I'm also an avid deleter of spam so enjoy!!
My favorite things to cook
PIZZA! Macaroni and Cheese, pesto carbonara, homemade wontons, egg rolls, spaghetti, tuna croquettes and PIZZA!.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every year when we decorate our Christmas tree, I serve fried rice balls with marinara sauce. Over the last couple of years, I've developed a tradition of serving a taco bar on New Years eve night.
My cooking triumphs
The first time I made bulgogi marinade for my husband. He'd not had it before and raved about the meat after he grilled it.
My cooking tragedies
The night I was making homemade wontons and due to humidity, they all decided to stick to each other. Wonton balls, anyone?
