Creamy Chocolate Frosting
This will now be my go-to chocolate frosting. I have never been good at making frosting, but hate buying the stuff in a can, but now I have an easy chocolate recipe! I also used whole milk in place of the evaporated milk. I found it hard to spread (as did my three-year-old) so we ended up adding a splash of extra milk at the end, which helped the consistency and also made a nice sheen. I made 1.5 x this recipe, and it was just enough to frost and fill a double-layer 9" round cake. Thanks!

Fabulous Homemade Bread For the Food Processor
This is really a wonderful bread. I made it yesterday for the first time. I have been making bread by hand for years, but never liked the kneading process, and I don't yet have a breadmaker. I have a small food processor, so I made it in two batches and it worked well. I am hoping the motor of my food processor holds up to make many more loaves of this!

Gourmet Mushroom Risotto
This was one of the best things I have ever made (even when, after all my effort expended that is required to make a good risotto, my husband said, "This is great! It tastes just like Cream of Mushroom!") I made this as a vegetarian entree (a little over 1.5 cups of arborio rice made enough to feed my family of two adults and two small children). I forgot to buy chives so I didn't use those, but otherwise the only change I made was to replace 2 cups of broth with water. I also paid attention to the debate over the actual amount of mushrooms that was intended to go in the recipe, and used a total of just over one pound, which was perfect. I will definitely be making this again!
