Nina's Texas Chili

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2010
Awesome recipe. I tried it with and without the sausage, and prefer it without. I also eliminate the beans b/c it's TEXAS chili. I used 1/2 can of chicken broth instead of chicken buillon. I also cook it in a slow cooker on low for about 8-10 hours. I also add about 8 oz more of tomato. Best chili I've ever had.

Spinach and Feta Pita Bake

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2010
Excellent, and easy to make. I used sweet peppers as suggested instead of mushrooms. I also added a little mozarella cheese. Delicious! The olive oil really adds a little somthing!

Szechwan Shrimp

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2010
Excellent! Just made this recipe for the first time and absolutely loved it. I made it with broccoli, and cooked the shrimp in the veg. oil with the garlic and green onions. I added salt and pepper, and cut back on the garlic a little. I also don't enjoy spicy food, so I cut the red pepper in half, which was perfect! Highly recommended!

Cousin David's Slow Cooker Brisket

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2010
Absolutely loved it, my first time making beef brisket! It turned out really tender, and smelled wonderfull cooking all day. I only cooked it in the slow cooker for about 5 hours. I added onions, and fresh garlic per other recommendations, can't wait to make it again!
