Rhubarb Dream Bars

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2008
These were excellent! I used 1 1/3 cups sugar, 1 cup Splenda, 1 1/2 cups white flour, and 1/2 cup whole wheat flour. I also used 5 cups rhubarb. Baked crust for 14 minutes and bars for 40 minutes. They set beautifully. I did cut around the edge of the pan immediately upon removing from the oven. Made clean-up and bar removal from the pan much easier. I took these to work and my co-workers raved! They were gone within a very short time. Thanks for a great recipe!

Maryann's Upside Down Rhubarb Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2008
This is an awesome recipe! I used 3/4 cup Splenda and 1/2 cup sugar, and a vanilla cake mix instead of white. OMG - it was wonderful.

Cheesy Chicken and Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2008
I took the advice of previous reviews. I used 1 can Cream of Mushroom, 1 Can Cheddar Cheese Soup. Added 1 can of sliced mushrooms, used brown rice instead of white. 1 cup of Cheddar cheese mixed in, sliced muenster (needed to use it up) on top, then topped with Ritz cracker crumbs. I thought it was way too cheesy, but my husband loved it.

Russian Style Creamy Salad Dressing

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2006
I am not a huge onion fan so recommend using a sweet onion or leaving it out. I also left out the hot sauce. With those 2 changes, I thought this turned out to be a good recipe. I've made a couple times and hubby and I enjoy.

Crab Salad III

This was very good even leaving out the things that I didn't like (all the veggies except celery).

Rhubarb Strawberry Crunch

Reviewed: May 23, 2005
This is a great recipe. I used 8 cups of rhubarb and 6 cups of strawberries. I love the topping so I don't cut that part of the recipe in half. I don't think it makes too much at all.

Cinnamon Coffee Cake II

This was really good! I got rave reviews from everyone at work. It is light and fluffy. I used about 3/4 cup oil and it turned out perfect.

Hot Chicken Salad Casserole

Reviewed: May 14, 2003
This was excellent, I did add a small amount of cooked shell noodles. The water chestnuts add such a nice crunch. I am not a Mayo fan, so I did use Miracle Whip instead.

Chewy Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: May 14, 2003
these were ok, but I didn't think they were anything fabulous. The peanut butter flavor was pretty mild and they just didn't bake well.

Broccoli and Ramen Noodle Salad

Reviewed: May 14, 2003
I thought this recipe was just ok. I am not sure what I was expecting, but the flavor just wasn't right. Maybe it was because I only had "hot and spicy" ramen noodles and used that instead of chicken flavor.

Baked Potato Salad I

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2003
well, i have to say i toyed with this recipe a little, i used 1/2cp FF sour cream and 1/2 cup ranch dip. I only used about 12oz of cheese and left out the olives. But, what a dish!! This was fabulous!!!

Double-Cheese Meat Loaf

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2003
This was a very good meatloaf. Next time, I will decrease the amount of onion because it was a little overwhelming, but definitely worth making again.

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2003
These are SO good!! I took the advice of an earlier reviewer and baked them at 375, but be careful that you bake them long enough. Mine were a little doughy. But definitely a keeper!!

Best Marinara Sauce Yet

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2003
This was a good recipe. I didn't have any white wine, so I used red. As with most sauces, this tastes better the next day. A nice flavor and it is a thick sauce. I used this with the chicken parmigiana recipe and it turned out great!!

Cinnamon Rolls II

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2003
These cinnamon rolls are so tender and delicious. The frosting is ok, but not a whole lot of cream cheese flavor. Maybe because I used low fat cream cheese. I used my kitchen-aid mixer and dough hook, these are VERY easy to make!!

Minnesota's Favorite Cookie

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2003
I found these on another site under the name Minnesota Munchers. They are so good! Very rich tasting. I undercook them a little because I like softer cookies. I also used a combination of semi-sweet and white chocolate chips because I didn't have milk chocolate ones. Definitely will make again!!

Super Sloppy Joes

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2002
These are definitely not to be confused with BBQ's. If you are looking for bland sloppy joe, they are very good. And the flavor improves over a day or two. I am not a green pepper fan, so left them out.
