Chai Tea Mix

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2011
I made this for my first time, and I only review based on the ACTUAL recipe. It was good, but even for someone with a sweet tooth like me (bring on the buttercream icing!!), it was a bit sweet. I did make the recipe with the suggested extra spices. I also could not find instant tea (where do you find that stuff in Canada????), so I had to make regular black tea and added the mix to that. I will definitely make this again, but for sure will cut back on the sugar. I like more spice than sweet in my chai.

This turned out perfect. I had tried something like this at a restaurant once and was looking for a recipe. LOVE IT!

Allie's Delicious Macaroni and Cheese

This was okay. I didn't find it very cheesy flavoured which was a disappointment.

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2011
This turned out perfect. I used pork shoulder (cheaper), and Bullseye Chicken and Rib Sauce. This is my go-to Pulled Pork recipe.

Homesteader Cornbread

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2011
This was my first time ever making cornbread, and this recipe turned out GREAT. I made it exactly to the recipe (which was SO EASY). Cooking times were accurate and it turned out perfect. I think I found my cornbread recipe... first try!

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2011
This was an awesome chili! I made it exactly as the recipe called for EXCEPT we didn't have any beer so I left that out. As well, my husband isn't a fan of beans so instead of 4 cans of chili beans I used 1 can of red kidney beans and 1 can of chick peas. It was great!

Amish Friendship Bread II

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2010
I didn't care for this version. It didn't cook through properly and was very heavy. I didn't mind the taste, but again because it never really cooked all the way through it was hard to tell.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2010
Potatoes were cooked PERFECTLY in this recipe. This was my first potato soup and it was really easy to make and tasted awesome in the end! White sauce took a little longer than the recipe said to thicken, but that could have been me. :)
