The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2012
I make thousands of sugar cookies a year, and this is by far the best recipe - not super sweet, so when you add icing, they mingle together! Wonderful.

Peanut Butter Haystacks

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2012
Cheap, simple, easy. But, be careful how you store them...they are really temperature sensitive! :) If you're out of the noodles, you can use pretzels, too.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

I have used this muffin recipe as a base for so many fruit muffins - from apples, to bananas, to raspberries, to cranberries - all turn out great. The crumb topping is like magical fairy dust...heavenly!

Phenomenal! I added a little more cornstarch to thicken it up a little bit more, but the taste was outstanding.

Extreme Banana Nut Bread 'EBNB'

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2012
No joke, this bread is like CRACK! Luckily, I always seem to have a surplus of over ripe bananas to get my fix. Great recipe. (I recommend what others said - 1/2 brown sugar, 1/2 white sugar...that is the only change I make!)

I am very intimidated by asian dishes - but this Super easy and super yummy. Leftovers kept well in the fridge, too, and were great for lunch the following day.

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2012
So, so, good. And, it kept wonderfully in the freezer! However, not as spicy as I was thinking it would be, so if you're looking for a little more bite, I would recommend adding some more spice.

Banana Cream Pie I

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2012
Easy to make - and super yummy - great way to use over ripe bananas if you're sick of banana bread. :) Like others recommended, I placed half of the bananas in the bottom of the pie, and mixed the other half into the pudding before spooning it into the pie shell. Fantastic!

Almond Maple Granola

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2012
I am a broke college student. Real maple syrup is really expensive, so I made this using 3 cups oats, 6 tablespoons honey, oil, water, salt, almonds. I was so afraid I was going to burn it, that I took it out of the oven every 15 minutes and stirred. When I took it out, while it was still cooling, I tossed in 1 tablespoon of brown sugar....this stuff is great...and super cheap to make. Thank you! :)

Home Made Farmer's Cheese

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2011
Wow. Okay, so I was totally intimidated at first...but this was super easy - and I'm no Martha Stewart, either. I dumped a gallon of milk in the pot, stirred it a couple times, saw foam first but waited until I saw bubbles and then turned off the heat and added 1/2 cup of distilled white vinegar. Saw the separation immediately, let it sit for ten minutes (while I danced happily around my living room) and then strained it through cheese cloth. Voila. It is a very mild, sweet cheese - a great base for anything you might want to do with it. Great recipe....and super cheap!!! :) Shazaam! :)
