Irresistible Whole Wheat Challah

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2010
This was absolutely delicious! By far the best and sweetest whole wheat Challah I've made! I'll definitely stick with this recipe.... I didn't use the vital wheat gluten or raisins.... It also didn't rise out of the oven much, and took longer than 30 mins in the oven but it came out to be lighter and sweeter than most whole wheat breads! Thank you! UPDATE: If you first proof yeast with water and then add it when you mix both dry and wet ingredients, It rises much more..... I make this every week for shabbat dinner and have gotten many many requests for the recipe!

Ratatouille Pasta

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2010
This was great! I didn't have tomato paste or canned diced tomatoes, so I used fresh and some tomato sauce......... I also didn't use the cheese..... But it came out really good even with the changes!

Coffee Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2010
It has no flavor, no nothing and is not as many servings as the recipe says it has. It's a great start to a better cookie! It's chewy, but that's it...my suggestion is to expirement with it until you love the taste of the batter (even though its not healthy :) ) and then bake it...

Challah I

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2010
This tasted amazing! My only complaint is that it came out waaaay too sticky, and I had to add a whole lot of flour, but it tasted great anyway! For the egg wash I use the yolk from the egg, add some water and sugar, beat it all together, and wallah! It comes out just like at the bakeries!

Cinnamon Rolls I

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2010
I made these for dinner, and between the four people at home, they were all gone by the next morning!!!!! An easy way to cut these is to use a long thread, put it under the cinnamon roll, bring the sides up to the top and cross them, then just pull, and they don't come ouwt squashed at all..... I hope I explained well!

Chewy Cocoa Brownies

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2010
These were great! I wasn't really sure it was done after about 40 mins, but I took it out anyway, and it set nicely while cooling. I also added semisweet choco chips instead of walnuts (not a full cup, just a few handfuls) and when we cut the brownies, they were melted just enough and it came out delish!

Ruth's Grandma's Pie Crust

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2009
Came out perfect! The only complaint is, the recipe only was enough for 3 pies, not 4. I used this recipe with the Grandma Ople's apple pie recipe, and it came out amazing!

Cracked Sugar Cookies I

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2009
These were amazing!!!! A few hours after the cookies came out of the oven, my family finished them off! The cookies didn't actually crack (with the first tray I waited for them to and they came out burnt) but they were yummy all the same!!! I got many compliments and pats on the back =)
