Mocha Blonde Brownies
About this Cook
i love to bake and cook. its just what i do. i'm in grade 10 in high school and i'm taking a Culinary Arts program to furthar in my studies.
My favorite things to cook
anything chocolate--may it be white, dark, milk, semi-sweet...i love chocolte. baking is my passion, cooking i still love...just not as much.
My cooking triumphs
my recipe, "Prize Winning Chocolate Nut Bars" won 2nd place when i was in 8th grade for our Christmas bake-off. i've sold quite a bit of my desserts including cookies, brownies, and some birthday cakes.
My cooking tragedies
i'm not very good at math, so when i was making chocolate cookies one day, i put in way too much margarine, they were disgustingly greasy.

Cake Mixes from Scratch and Variations
so, my brother's birthday is tomorrow, and i figured i would make this cake for him. i did the white cake first, and it was great to work with, except that it didn't rise at all...which was a little dissapointing. but then i made the chocolate version, and i doubled it so it would rise, its turning out beautiful right now. all together, a wonderful recipe! "you can't go wrong with cake mix!"

Best Ever Chocolate Chip Cookies III
this was a good recipe to work with. i only did about 2 dozen and the amount of sugar in them was way too much, so i halved it and it wasn't quite as sweet, just perfect.

Soft Christmas Cookies
the first time i made these, they were wonderful. the second time the dough was dry and crumbly. i followed everything right, but other than that, the dough is really nice to work with, i loved this recipe.
