Loaded Vegetarian Quiche

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2015
I loved this quiche. Very flavorful and good. I used 8" pie pan,no mushrooms, 1 cup drained zucchini, grape tomatoes halved or quartered,1 small carrot,chopped,3 slices colby cheese and 3/4C shredded cheddar-also the onion, green pepper, basil, salt & pep. 3 eggs & 1/2 c milk was just right and the flour in the tomatoes is genius.

Jen's Pressure Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2013
My 3 lb rump roast was slightly frozen so it took long time to get pressure so I over cooked it some but it was very yummy. The carrots which are my favorite were amazingly good. I did add 1 packet of brown gravy mix (dissolved in water)when I added veggies and omitted the flour gravy step. My husband loved it. Meat was from local farm.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2013
This was ham and potato gravy(thin, but still gravy). Leave out the flour mixture and add a can of evap. milk to the ham/potato mixture and mash up some of the potatoes to thicken it. I made it exactly but left out pepper. I won't make it again.

Nutty Quick Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2011
This is really good bread, like a treat. Changes I made: used Fiber One cereal crushed, homemade buttermilk, & 1/2 splenda(used a little less than 1 cup total sweeteners). Gave some to our son and parents, thank you.P.S. 5 stars is reserved for amazing recipes.

Concord Grape Pie I

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2011
I'm not sure why this got rave reviews. It is a good tasting pie, but a lot of work. I used grapes from my arbor and an extra 1/8 cup corn starch with a bought crust. I will use my grapes for jam.My pulp was 3 cups & with peels 5 cups so I used a 9" deep dish. Also put sugar on top of crust.

Banana Cake VI

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2011
This cake was easy and moist, the icing was very good. The cakes flavor was unusual(banana) and it seemed to lack flavor ie. not much ooh,aah factor. The icing helped that. When I have ripe bananas I may make it again. Good "change"recipe.
