This was such a great starting off point. I tweeked alot and I will continue to do so the next time. Ive been eating leftovers all weekend and its so yummy. Instead of two cars of condensed cream of mush. - used one can, and a second can was french onion soup, no water added. Then instead of the 1.4 cups water - low sodium fat free beef broth, 2 cups (I like to cook for 8 hours low..so wanted a bit extra liquids) I also added some onions (half a valdilia) 1 tbsp garlic (I love garlic), white pepper. I also added 1/2 cup burgendy cooking wine for a richer flavor. Wanted some veg, so tossed in chopped tomatoes with jap. for some extra kick. I will probubly go with stewed tomatoes next time. Like many others - i had the best success to brown first. Coated the roast in season flour (garlic powder and chili powder), browned with garlic infused olive oil. Then added to the slow cooker. amazing!! I pulled the roast to slice and it fell apart with a spoon!
