Loved it! I'm not a Parmesan fan so I eliminated it but left everything else in tact...

Big M's Spicy Lime Grilled Prawns

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2013
It sounded really good in theory but I was disappointed in the results. Too tough and not very spicy. I may try it again using some of the suggestions made by other reviewers!

Seven Layer Dip

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2013
This was really good but I had to change a few things to suit my tastes. I exchanged guacamole for plain advocado and I exchanged grated Mexican blend cheese for the cheese spread!!!! I will make it again!

Pittsburgh Football Party Cilantro Salsa

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2013
This was fantastic! I didn't have tomatillos but I added chopped advocado because I thought it fit all of the flavors! It worked perfectly...but...it didn't keep for leftovers so next time I'll leave out the advocado!

Outrageous Warm Chicken Nacho Dip

Loved it...exchanged hot sausage for chicken and left out the beans. I found that cooking it on high wasn't necessary...everyone loved it!

Miss May's Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2012
Quick and easy! Loved this recipe and so did my family. No one likes tuna buy myself and I was craving a tuna casserole...but gave in to chicken and this did the trick. As usual, I didn't have all the recommended ingredients but I followed the directions substituting Chicken for Tuna, green chilies for bell pepper... left everything else the same...will definitely make it again!

Chicken and Dumplings IV

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2010
Loved it! I made a few changes out of fear...I'm not very creative when i cook so I play it safe. I wanted a stronger chicken flavor, I didn't have any broth or stock so I threw in 4 chicken buillon cubes when simmering the chicken. This eliminated the need for any additional salt. I love onion so I added a little onion salt and a little celery seed. I agree with the author it needs a little more water, maybe a cup more only to make more of it!!! Will make it a regular during the cold months!

Bread Pudding I

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2009
This is really good and easy. I used a vanilla sauce from another posted bread pudding recipe to pour on top. I didn't change anything. I didn't give it five stars because it didn't have a sauce with it for that extra mmmmm. By itself it is 4 stars.

Southwestern Turkey Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2009
LOVED this soup. I am not a creative cook but I read all the reviews and adjusted the recipe by sauteeing the garlic & onion in olive oil then added the other ingredients...turkey, broth, corn, black beans, seasonings as suggested. I used 1 can of Rotel Mexican flavor and 1 can diced tomatos with green chilis...good and spicy! I added sour cream after pouring soup into bowls...it was fabulous, next time I will try topping it with guacamole along with the sour cream. My husband loved it as well! It will become a weekly staple during the winter!
