Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2011
wow. I've made a lot of banana bread in my time but this one hits the spot. I used about 5 small very ripe bananas and substituted the brown sugar Splenda mix for the brown sugar. I sprinkled a little nutmeg and cinnamon as others have suggested. What an aboslute treate! It's true that > 2000 reviewers cannot be wrong!

Homemade Mac and Cheese

Thought this recipes was very easy. I found it a little too creamy and will decrease the amount of milk the next time. It needs more kick and would add spices (pepper and maybe mustard seed).

Working Mom's Hamentashen

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2010
Very difficult to shape due to stickiness of dough. I used regular preserves and found it very dry once cooking. I'll keep looking for a hamentashen recipe. ;(

Cheryl's Spinach Cheesy Pasta Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2009
The recipe is quite yummy but lacks a lot of taste due to minimal spices. I would add garlic and onion powder at least. I also tried to add a little more protein and crumbled tofu into the mixture.

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2009
Terrific. Absolutely the best. All the reviews are right. I've made twice now and love the suggestions made by others to add either nuts (Walnuts were what I used) or chocolate chips. A little bit goes a long way 1/2 - 3/4 cup is all that is needed for the whole recipe. Looks and smells beautiful!
