About this Cook
Born in Birmingham, UK, where I lived for the first 50+ years. Now living in Baltimore, USA, so I have to keep converting European weights and temperatures to the US equivalent.
My favorite things to cook
I like to try different things - LOVE Thai food and Malaysian. But also enjoy cooking other foods too.
My favorite family cooking traditions
'KISS' - now, if only I could REMEMBER that when I cook!
My cooking triumphs
TRIUMPHS??? Seriously, I have cooked a few meals that people have said they liked - so, I guess I have had a few 'triumphs'.
My cooking tragedies
WAY too many to recount!

Spicy Garlic Lime Chicken
This is great, next time I think I will try making a mango salsa to go with it.

Pasta Fazul
My wife had to have a dental extraction; so I used this recipe, but blended the vegetables and used tomato sauce rather than tomatoes I also didn't have any cannellini beans, so couldn't have those. It was supereasy to make and really tasty, would have been even better with some bruschetta and a nice red wine! ;)

Potato Chips
Great easy recipe. I wonder if the type of potato dictates the length it requires to be 'cooked'? I woould suspect that a 'firm' potato (Such as an Idaho) would be better than a 'soft' potato (Such as a Yukon Gold).
