Baklava

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2011
Made it for a couples night event, and non was left! One thing I will do next time is to ignore the suggestion of making another 1/2 cup more syrup. the bottom was a little too soggy for my taste. Next time I'll stick with the original recipe.

Sage Pork Chops

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2011
Very, very good recipe. I did have thin pork chops so as previous reviews noted I did cook them at a shorter time (15-20 min) They were tender nice and juicy.

Fish Chowder

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2010
Just made this the other night with chopped up tilapia and shrimp. Awesome. Use a lot of Old Bay Seasoning. What the recipe calls for, is just not enough. Serve with some french bread. Yum

Chocolate Ganache

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2010
Used this ganache for my Death by Chocolate Cake. Wonderful. I didn't put any bourbon in the ganache and it still tasted fantastic. Left the ganache out for an hour on the counter, and it got nice and thick for spreading on my cake. I've also whipped it with my kitchen aid and it got nice and fluffy for a great chocolate filling.

One Bowl Chocolate Cake III

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2010
My favorite Chocolate Cake recipe. If you are looking for a dark, moist, fudge-y like cake, this is it! Simple and beats any box mix cake.

Catherine's Spicy Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2010
Need a hearty soup on a cold winter night. This is it. Almost like a chicken tortilla soup, but less complicated to make. My husband isn't a soup person, but he LOVES this one.

J.P.'s Big Daddy Biscuits

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2010
Love, love, love this recipe. When I first starting making these biscuits I decided to substitute shorting for butter. Well, one day I ran out of butter and only had shorting. Decided to make the biscuits like the recipe says, and boy was I missing out. Using the shorting was SOOO much better! I'm so mad I waited this long to try it out. The biscuits were light, fluffy, with a little crunch on top (I did drop biscuits) This will forever be a winner in my recipe book.

Buffalo Chicken Fingers

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2010
Having a Sunday, Monday, Thursday...Saturday football party, make these! I like making regular buffalo chicken wings, but I hate the frying and mess it causes in the kitchen. Thank God for this recipe. Spicy, tender, and a great finger food for any party occasion. One note I would make is to brush the chicken fingers with some butter or margarine while cooking, flipping them over half way baking and giving the back of fingers a little coat of butter as well. This will make the fingers a little more crispy.

This will forever be my go to recipe for blueberry muffins. Every time I make them I get such great comments on how moist they are. Awesome

Famous Butter Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2010
Works every time. Juicy and very tender. My husband loves it. No buttery crackers? Just use Italian bread crumbs. Works just as good. Thanks for the recipe!
