Slow-Cooker Posole

Used leftover pork roast, didn't have enough meat so I threw a chicken breast in as well, I didn't brown the meat. Added some cumin and subbed out the water for about 2 cans of chicken broth

Slow Cooker Roast Beef

Restaurant-Style Chicken Tenderloins

Didn't have a whole lot of taste. They were very tender, but my family really had no idea that I had marinated them in anything versus baked some plain chicken strips.

Crab Stuffed Chicken Breasts

Not bad, took the idea of adding the cajun seasoning which helped both the white sauce and stuffing. Kind of tasted like a crab cake stuffed inside a chicken breast.

German Potato Cheese Soup

Loved this, made as directed except instead of the 4tbsp chicken soup base and 4 cups water, I used all chicken broth and total of 6 cups. I did add some cayenne and garlic as well.

Daria's Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff

I used a frozen round steak. Sub 1/2 cup red wine instead of the white, and sub beef broth for the water. I used fresh mushrooms and omit the flour, and add a little worstershire. otherwise I make as directed. Very good, I have made this several times.

My family liked it. I did use more cheese and doubled the taco seasoning. I also used nacho doritos on top, but put them on after it was all cooked so they would stay crunchy.

Savory Garlic Marinated Steaks

Great marinade. My family usually will only eat steak naked and everyone loved it. Dinner plans changed and this ended up sitting in the marinade for a few days tather than overnight. Thought it would end up being too overpowering and ruin it, but it was wonderful.

Overnight Blueberry French Toast

I did as someone else suggested and mixed the cream cheese and some powdered sugar together and spread over the bread before cutting it into pieces. I don't like big globs of cream cheese. The sauce is great, kind of resembles pie filling, you could use as much or as little as you like

Sauce was really good, had enough to put over noodles with the chicken. Also used some leftover half and half and the rest milk thickened with cornstarch - still tasted good in my opinion

Really good. I dont use canned chicken, I put 2 or 3 chicken breasts in a croc pot for a few hours and then shred. I also use blue cheese instead of ranch.
