Better Than Sex Cake II

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2015
I made this as we were having guests for a week and I was bored with the same old, same old, desserts, sssoooo I made this cake. I was gone in one day and everyone loved it. I used cool whip as the topping and it tasted great with the heath bar chips. This is one of the best recipes I have found anywhere. Thank you for sharing it.

Mel's Magnificent Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2014
This is my "go to" recipe for chocolate chip cookies. Everybody asks me to make them and the grandkids want to know if PopPop made any cookies as soon as they come in the front door. I have tried others but for my taste this is the one "baby". Thanks for sharing Mel.

Blake's Slow Cooker Chicken Pot Pie Stew

Reviewed: May 25, 2013
I will make this again but makes some changes. I used 10 med to large red potatoes, peeled and cubed. I cut back to 3 bullion cubes. The end result was that it was still way too salty and there were too many potatoes to my liking. It was more like potato soup. The first thing out of my families mouths were "wow, this is really salty". I will cut back to one bullion cube, delete the celery salt, and use 6 potatoes. Just my HO.

Chewy Brownies

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2011
I took the advice of some others reviewa and upped the cocoa to 1/2 cup. It seemed a little dry in the mixing bowl so I added two teasoons of water then added two more (4 tsp Total) That seemed to help and the browmies are great. Chewy in the middle and crisp on the outside edges. Thanks Sheila.
