I'm disappointed my spaghetti-lovin hubby turned his nose up at this. I used a typical jar of Classico (bigger than 16 ounces) and found this dish to be very bland. Parmesan helped some. Maybe I needed more sauce? Oddly, I'm not sure why ladling our typical Classico sauce on noodles is better than mixing and baking, but it is.

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

This one of those things to bring to a church pot luck. It's colorful, tastes pretty good, and compliments the other mystery dishes well. On the other hand, I brought it to a family get-together where every thing was made from scratch. They thought the fruit was good and didn't like the chips.

Banana Crumb Muffins

The tops of these are great ... the muffin part is so so. I think I'd like to try a sour cream recipe with this topping.

I personally find this a bit too sweet ... but everyone else loves it. The carmel aspect gives a nice twist, making it stand out if you are taking it to a party.

Amish Bread

I LOVE this bread and so does the family. I'm not much of a bread machine lover. So I run it through the rising cycle. Then, punch down, need slightly, and place in bread pans to rise again before baking in oven. Works great.

I don't like these the day they are cooked ... but the next day, they are excellent. If you like to cook ahead of time, these are the cookies for you!

Italian Wedding Soup I

My family requests this all the time. It only uses a 1/2 pound burger, making it economical and good for weight loss. Leftovers are good but all the liquid get absorbed.

Asian Beef with Snow Peas

I subbed white wine vinegar for rice wine. It was horrible! ... I hate it when people review recipes low when they don't follow them ... but I just don't want anyone to make the same mistake ... for this recipe, it would be much better to skip the vinegar all together.

Butternut Squash Soup

I LOVE this! ... my family HATES it. I even had them try it with different amounts of cream cheese. No luck ... so I'm writing off the family and keeping this recipe! :)
