Tomato and Mozzarella Bites

Reviewed: May 29, 2010
Made for 1st time for a cook-out. All were gone in no time. Several people commented how good they were. Used very fresh ingredients, marinated mozzarella, and added sliced pepperoni. For dressing I used 1/2 balsamic and 1/2 apple cider...yummy!!!!

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2010
I used picked jalapenos from jar and added some large green olives and few drizzles of olive oil... YUM! My mom is visiting and loves store bought humus. She tasted this and ate almost the whole bowl. Will make again for bunco in 2 weeks.

Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2010
First time making. Made for dinner with friends, which included a total of 5 kids. Was a hit... all the kids ate it and some asked for seconds. I would make again. Because some of the reviews said it was bland, I doctored my sauce up a lot with lots of garlic, dried Italian spice, garlic salt and pepper. I used fresh mozzarella (slided balls). It was delicious!! Would make again.

White Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2010
First time in my life making a home made cake. I used white chocolate chips and made buttermilk by adding lemon juice to milk, because that's all I had on hand. Even given those substitutions, the cake turned out very good. It was more dense (heavier) than boxed cakes, but had a rich taste. I actually made 2 smaller cakes (1 round and 1 heart shaped for Valentine's Day). My family ate 1 the first night and the second the next day... I only got 1 piece! My husband commented more than once how good they were! Would make again.

Chuck's Favorite Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2009
My first time making this. Doubled the recipe- it turned out great! Took to a Halloween party and was a hit for kids and adults. Used panko bread crumbs instead and put under broiler for 3 minutes once at the party- browned beautifully for serving & gave great crunch on top. Would definatley make again.
