About this Cook
My hubby & I have been married for 21 years this fall and have 3 teenagers plus a 6 yo. princess we adopted from Russia. We live in the Wild, wild west where coyotes and javelinas roam free and occasionally run into a rattler or two.
My favorite things to cook
Spending first 15 years of my life in Japan, I have a deep appreciation and love for Japanese dishes as well as other Asian dishes including Thai, Vietnamese and Indian. We also love Russian & Ukrainian food where we have traveled extensively and come to love and appreciate the culture.

Roasted Brussels Sprouts
This dish makes a perfect side dish for everything you can imagine. Our teenage son found this recipe and made it for us one night and we have used this recipe ever since. It is easy, healthy and very tasty! We love it!!

The Best Pavlova
Our 13 year old daughter made this for dessert tonight with little help from mom. It turned out wonderful! My mother-in-law had a taste of Pavlova years ago and remembered loving it. She says this recipe (and our daughter's fabulous cooking) clearly exceeded her last Pavlova experience! Thanks for sharing a fabulous recipe! I know our daughter will be making this again, hopefully very soon!

Cheesy Potato Kugel
We prepared it for dinner tonight and it was loved by all! I baked it in 2 casserole dishes rather than a loaf pan this time but I will do the loaf pan next time for more moist finish. The onion & cheese added a lot to the flavor. We really enjoyed it! Thanks!
