Curried Rice Pilaf

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2010
This was good. I didn't have any green onions so I used half an onion and I also left out the raisins and the almonds because I didn't have those either. Overall, it was pretty good. I would probably add about 1Tbs of curry powder next time. I can smell the curry, it just doesn't have that strong curry taste.

Chocolate Crinkles II

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2010
These were good, but I feel like something is missing. I followed the recipe exactly..I only got 3 1/2 dozens instead of 6, which is okay with me. I thought that the 2 cups of sugar was going to be too sweet, but it's not sweet at all. Plus, I don't think there's enough chocolate taste to it. The cookies came out perfect (baked for 10 mins). Maybe next time, I'll add some more sugar or some chocolate chips to it.

mMmm..talk about comfort food. this surely hit the spot for me. i added chopped carrots, celery and potatoes in with the chicken. i didn't use the baking mix method for the dumplings because i didn't have any so i used a dumpling recipe i found on AR and it came out good.

Spanish Rice II

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2010
mMmm..I just got done eating this and it was so good. I didn't have any bell peppers so I left that out. Also, I just had a can of plain diced tomatoes so I used that. It turned out delicious. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because the BEST spanish rice I've ever had was from my old boss..he makes it every year for cinco de mayo!!!!

Chicken Lo Mein

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2010
This was good..nothing like what you get in the restaurant though. This is kinda like the healthier version. I changed the ingredients up a little bit though..using what I had. I used fresh ginger, I don't know how much I used though because I was just grating it into the bowl..hehe..I love ginger!! As for veggies..I used some baby bok choy, cabbage that I cut up, and some celery and of course the mushrooms. I'm use to making lo mein with alot of soy sauce, but this is delicious. This is definitely a keeper!!!

Breaded Chicken Fingers

Reviewed: May 27, 2010
O M G..this is the best homemade chicken fingers!! I made this for dinner tonight..the ONLY thing I did different was left out the garlic powder. I have a 1 1/2 year old toddler..she's a picky eater and I didn't want to make it where she doesn't want to eat it. BUT she actually ate 2 pieces!! This was very easy to make, I fried these in a deep fryer!! I will be making these again!! Thanks for sharing!!

Pasta e Olio

Reviewed: May 25, 2010
this was good..but it was oily!! i left out the crushed red peppers cause my hubby doesn't eat spicy food. after i drained the noodles, i didn't want it to stick together so i put in about 1 tsp. of butter (i only made 2 servings). it didn't take me 10-15 mins to brown the garlic..it only took me like a couple of minutes, probably because i grated the garlic in the oil. after i added the pasta, i didn't add any more butter cause i had already added it to the pasta after i drained it. it was good, but just too oily.
