This recipe was very good. I had never made pot pie before. This tasted just like Marie Callender's pot pies. I used 2 cans of canned chicken instead of fresh chicken and just added the whole can, juices and all. Also, I wasn't paying attention to the directions and added the onion with the other veggies... so then made the roux with no onion. It still turned out great. I pre-baked the bottom crust for 5 minutes. I mixed it all before pouring it into the crust. The first time I made it, I used store-bought crust. The next time I made crust from scratch and of course it was much better. We just bought some rotisserie chickens and I'm going to use those instead of the canned chicken next time. My whole family loved this and I will make it many more times.
