I am 22 years old. Engaged to be married to a wonderful man in April 2010. We have a beautiful daughter who is 3. I love to cook and bake. Hate measuring so the baking is minimal, and i Love to get creative with my cooking.
My favorite things to cook
i love Lasagna, steak, curry, and anything cheesy, I make an awesome banana flavored cake with a PB icing. i dont tend to follow any recipe exactly as i will tryb to use whatever i have on hand or just simply get creative with something. the only problem is nothing usually turns out teh same twice
My favorite family cooking traditions
i enjoy cooking with my daughter and she loves helping! i am always looking for some kid friendly recipes that she can help make
My cooking triumphs
I made Thanksgiving dinner this year(a few days early). my turkey was moist, the sweet potatoes delicious and guests were asking for the stuffing recipe(which i couldnt remember bc i winged it). I was so impressed with myself.
My cooking tragedies
Garlic bread! everytime i make it i burn it under the broiler!!!!!! EVERY TIME!!!

Spaetzle I
a little tough, but good. Made them by hand because I didnt have anything to push the dough through. boiled then sauteed in butter and served with sausage. toughness may b result of overcooking or overmixing.
