Strawberry Ice Cream
I've made this 4 or 5 times now and it is a *hit* exactly as written. Add some high-quality vanilla and you'll never buy strawberry ice cream again. My only criticism is, why add the extra step by putting the cream into the yolk/sugar mixture and then putting it back in the pan? Just mix the yolk/sugar into the pan, it works fine as long as you stir it. Also, make sure you puree the strawberries. I tried them chopped and it did not work. It was like biting into frozen strawberries.

Italian Bread Using a Bread Machine
This bread is ridiculously easy to make, and so delicious it's probably illegal in some states. At first I wasn't quite on board, since I was looking for a straight up bread machine loaf recipe, but I am thrilled that I went through with the piddling step of taking the dough out of the machine, brushing it with an egg wash and cooking it for a half hour. Honestly, when it came out of the oven I had just eaten a large dinner and couldn't resist taking a little nubbin off the end. Outrageous. I'm going to make a garlic bread with one loaf, and maybe use the other for sandwiches. I'm not worried, this bread will be eaten up in no time for sure. I had cornmeal on hand and I really like the touch that adds to the bottom of the loaf.

Chicken Marsala
Simple and delicious! The flavors will please everyone and it's so easy to cook. I skipped the oregano because I'm not a fan, used Earth Balance instead of butter and cut the olive oil in half to trim off some fat. It came out very well and was a big hit.
