Scalloped Corn

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2007
Taste was good but was very mushy. My husband thought it just corn bread not cooked all of the way through.

Awesome! The house smelled great and everyones kept asking when was dinner! As per previous reviews, I added 2 cups of beef broth so that the meat was covered. Probably next time I will add 2 packages of the Italian dressing. Will defiently make again soon!

Grandma's Favorite Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2007
Just ok. Not much flavor. I added chicken broth instead of water. Chicken tasted like it was just boiled in the broth. Needed more spices or something. Probably wont make again.

Southwest Stuffed Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2007
Very delicious! I need some practice on flattening the chicken and rolling it. The cheese all came out the ends. My husband loved it! Will make it again for sure!

Blueberry Dump Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2007
I didn't care for this dessert. I left the pats of butter on top and I had a lot of dry spots. I loved the blueberries with the cinnanon. I think next time I will make up the cake mix and then pour the yellow cake mix over the blueberries.

Pizza Pinwheels

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2007
My kids loved them! I spread a little pizza sauce on the dough before rolling it up. My kids thought they had done something special to get these. Mine didn't turn out as pretty, but they tasted great!!

Anniversary Chicken I

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2007
My husband has been complaining because he says all we ever eat is chicken, chicken or chicken. I love chicken, apparently he doesn’t. I knew I would get the same reaction to what’s for dinner, but he loved this recipe! He ate 3 chicken breasts! I will defiantly be making it again. I did marinade the chicken in a 30 min teriyaki marinade 1st and also put the cheese and bacon on the last 10 minutes. Very Yummy!

Chocolate Mint Cookies I

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2007
Really good cookies! I took the advice of others and added some mint extract to the dough. I broke an Ande's Mint in half and just pressed it into the warm cookie. Next time I will melt it around to look more like the picture so you don't have just a lump of the mint chocolate. Will defiantly make again!

I made this last Christmas for my friends and family, but had to hide it from my husband! He absolutely loved it! I followed the recipe exactly.

Chocolate Snowswirl Fudge

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2007
This is a good fudge recipe, although it was very gooey. I wished it had had a more fluffy texture to it. Will make again though.

Marie's Easy Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2007
Pot roast came out very tender. I was worried about having the potatoes in there the whole 10 hours, but they came out great with great flavor. Thank you for sharing.

Chicken Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2008
I loved this recipe! I used some garlic salt instead of seasoned salt. And I used club crackers because I didn't have any saltines. That gave it a nice buttery taste. Chicken was moist and crust was crunchy. Cut up the cold leftovers the next day and put them on top of a salad. Yummy!

I did not care for this recipe. The meat turned to mush and was not very tasty. Probably won't make again.

Butternut and Apple Harvest Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2008
This recipe was great! My husband even liked it and he is not a big soup fan. I thought I had bought a Granny Smith apple but it never made it home. I used a Gala apple instead as that was what I had on hand. I still think it turned out awesome. Not sure what difference the GS apple would have made. I will defiantly make this soup again.

Easy Morning Glory Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2008
Very tasty moist muffins! I was looking for something quick for my stepson to take in the car for breakfast in the morning on the way to school. I wanted something healthy. I loved these muffins as did the rest of the family, especially my 9 month old!

Peanut Butter Vegetable Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2008
I love peanut butter so I thought this soup would be awesome. It had a good taste and was defiantly healthy. My soup was thick with vegetables. I did leave out the bell pepper because they seem to give me heart burn. I bagged up the leftovers and froze them for a quick workday lunch. The soup had a very rich flavor. I will make it again, but it will be a while.

Frosted Pumpkin Bars

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2008
These were awesome! I did add a little more cinnamon then it called for. I also by accident put them in a larger pan so I doubled the frosting recipe. The bar came out a little thinner than I had hoped but that was because of the pan size. Next time I will put them in a smaller one. The bars were eaten up quickly by my husband and step-son. I will make them again real soon!
