Easy Sausage Strata

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2009
Yummy for Christmas morning. I think I used more than 6 slices of bread though.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2009
This dip was very good. Made it at home and for a potluck. One word of advice - use only cheddar cheese. 1st time I made it I used cheddar and it was yummy and gooey. The next time I made it it was very oily. I used a blend of Colby Jack. I couldn't figure out what went wrong. It had to be the type of cheese.

Can't Leave Alone Bars

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2008
Very delicious! My husband defiantly enjoyed these bars. I would let the cool completely before cutting them as the chocolate tends to stay a little gooey for a while. Yum!

Kalua Pig in a Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2008
Very delicious! I made this for my family when they came to dinner. Everyone said it tasted great. My mom even went home and bought her own roast to cook it again. I did place a few slices of onion on the bottom of the slow cooker so the meat would not scorch. I didn’t cook it for the recommended 20 hours. I cooked it on low for 2 hours, then on high for 4 hours. The meat just fell off the bone. I will defiantly make this again when I have company. Thanks for sharing!

Pumpkin Fluff Dip

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2008
Enjoyed this recipe very much! I made it for when my family was in town. I sprinkled the top with a little cinnamon for added taste and decoration. We ate it with graham cracker sticks and ginger snaps.

Slow Cooker Dump and Go Cheesy Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2008
The house smelled good while this dish was cooking, but it turned out to be very bland. I did not like the taste of it at all. The whole time I was eating it I kept wondering what I could have added to make it taste better. My husband said it was just ok. Probably will not make it again!

Tater Tot Hot Dish II

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2008
I loved this recipe! My husband also commented that he liked it! It was very flavorful and easy to make. I did use 2 cans of cream of celery because I do not like mushrooms. I also added cheese on top of the meat - under the Tate tots- and then some on top with the French fried onions. This will definitely be in my regular rounds of dinners. Thanks for sharing it with me!

Frosted Pumpkin Bars

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2008
These were awesome! I did add a little more cinnamon then it called for. I also by accident put them in a larger pan so I doubled the frosting recipe. The bar came out a little thinner than I had hoped but that was because of the pan size. Next time I will put them in a smaller one. The bars were eaten up quickly by my husband and step-son. I will make them again real soon!

Peanut Butter Vegetable Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2008
I love peanut butter so I thought this soup would be awesome. It had a good taste and was defiantly healthy. My soup was thick with vegetables. I did leave out the bell pepper because they seem to give me heart burn. I bagged up the leftovers and froze them for a quick workday lunch. The soup had a very rich flavor. I will make it again, but it will be a while.

Very tasty moist muffins! I was looking for something quick for my stepson to take in the car for breakfast in the morning on the way to school. I wanted something healthy. I loved these muffins as did the rest of the family, especially my 9 month old!

Butternut and Apple Harvest Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2008
This recipe was great! My husband even liked it and he is not a big soup fan. I thought I had bought a Granny Smith apple but it never made it home. I used a Gala apple instead as that was what I had on hand. I still think it turned out awesome. Not sure what difference the GS apple would have made. I will defiantly make this soup again.

Chicken Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2008
I loved this recipe! I used some garlic salt instead of seasoned salt. And I used club crackers because I didn't have any saltines. That gave it a nice buttery taste. Chicken was moist and crust was crunchy. Cut up the cold leftovers the next day and put them on top of a salad. Yummy!

This is a good fudge recipe, although it was very gooey. I wished it had had a more fluffy texture to it. Will make again though.
